On Wednesday December 7, 2005 Representatives from 9 of New Hampshire's Middle School Football Programs met with the intentions of improving NH Middle School Football. All of the attendees agreed that in the best interest of our youth the Granite State Football league would be formed.
The League will play it's first season beginning the Fall of 2006.
2008 - Four new organizations join GSFL. The teams are from Bedford, Hartford VT, Hollis/Brookline, and Upper Valley.
GSFL voted unanimously to approve this move entering the 2008 season with 13 teams at each level Varsity and JR Varsity.
2009 - GSFL voted to remain at 12 members as Bedford removed its orginization from the League.
